What the difference pays for
The gap is real money, so it’s worth being clear about what it buys. With Squarespace, the price is for the tool: the building, writing, SEO, listings and updates are your time. With HollerWeb, the price is for the work. We build the site, write it, manage your Google Business Profile, set up your listings, do SEO every month and send you a rankings report that shows where you stand in Google.
When Squarespace is the better pick
- You want to pick a template and build the site yourself.

- You want to sell products, digital downloads or memberships with Squarespace’s built-in tools.
When HollerWeb is the better pick
- You’d rather spend your time running your business than learning a website builder.
- You want someone doing your SEO and keeping your Google Business Profile active every month.
- You want to talk to the people doing the work, with no long-term contract holding you in.
Common questions
Is Squarespace bad for SEO?
No. Squarespace gives you the settings you need, like page titles and descriptions. What a builder can’t do is the ongoing work: writing a page for each service, keeping your Google Business Profile active and watching where you rank. That work is what HollerWeb’s plans pay for.
Can you move my Squarespace site to HollerWeb?
Yes. We build you a new site and set up redirects from your old page addresses, to protect the Google traffic your old pages earned. Our guide on redesigning without losing rankings explains how.
Do I have to sign a contract with HollerWeb?
There’s no long-term contract. There’s no setup fee, you pay your first month up front, and you can leave whenever you want.
